Today 5P visited the CARES bike safety centre. Constable Pritchard showed us how to stay safe on the road both as a pedestrian and cyclist. The students were shown how to correctly fit their helmet and the many reasons why they must never ride without one on. Everyone was issued with their own licence that had 12 points. Thankfully we all completed the day with our licence, though some of us were very close to losing theirs! Rebekah impressed constable Pritchard so much with her riding skills and answers to his questions that she was presented with her very own helmet at the end of the day. Congratulations Rebekah! A wonderful day was had by all and we would like to say a huge thank you to Mrs Du Ross-Smith and Mrs Ferguson for spending the day with us.
